Sometimes my heart suffers in the thought that we live in a fallen world. Just read the news. So many in this world need an encounter with Jesus Christ. There is so much death and destruction...but in the midst of it all is God working fervently. We have new brothers and sisters in Christ...right now, as you are reading this, in China and South America...the list goes on. Jesus is changing lives every minute around the world. Our hope is on Christ, crucified and risen from the dead. Through him, we have hope for an eternal life where only tears of joy exist.

Love y'all,
David

I'm trying quick blogging from my phone. It seems like I'm delaying my posts longer and longer these days. Maybe frequent posts will be more doable. For this post I'd like to challange your defenition and view of worship: would you still sing or play worship if only God could hear it (I mean, not even you could hear it)?

Love y'all

I haven’t posted in a while and I apologize for that. Life has been….Crazy. But in a good way. Busiest I’ve been in a while (since last year of my EE degree?) . So, there are many things I want to talk about. But time is short (I’ll have to push the divine knowledge topic for next time) I want to cover something that God showed me recently. I had been so busy these last couple of months, that my times with God were becoming shorter and more distant as time went on. I saw this happening but felt helpless to stop the slippery slope. It has been a daily struggle to make time, I have done okay but not as much as I would have liked. I think everybody can relate to this struggle in some way. I knew I needed to spend more time reading the Bible and praying. Basic spiritual disciplines. Finally, while driving and praying, God somehow highlighted a thought that I had. It hit me hard.

God missed me.

He missed me. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never thought about it that way before. Amazing that an eternal God can know me, David Montenegro, on such a personal level that when I diss him, he misses me. What a wonderful God we put our hope and trust in.

So, if you’ve been distant from God; remember, as He loves you, He misses you too. He misses hearing you. He misses making you laugh. He misses spending quite moments with you. We serve a very real, and very personal God.

Life is crazy

Hi everybody,

So christmas break is gone and done, back to life as usual...*Sighs*

Band Updates: We are working on finishing our demo right now. We're in the home stretch. We have 3 songs 98% done and are starting the writing process of the 4th song, the final one for the demo. God willing we'll start recording in the March time frame.

David Updates:
1)I just started school again, going for my Masters in Business Administration. I'm taking it online from Spring Arbor University www.arbor.edu. Its a christian school that has a great acredited business program. I'm actually enjoying it so far *gasp*, I"ll be done in 18 months, not too bad.
2) There is a possibility that I may be leading worship at another church sometime soon. I'm not sure when or if it will happen, but please pray for me if you get a chance as this seems like a great opportunity.

I have some other stuff to blog about, but I'm out of time for today. Has to do with a Christian's thirst for divine knowledge. I'll post something soon. Keep tuned. Love ya'll, Be blessed in our Saviour's hands.
